♦ Economical Cassettes with Reusable Metal Covers Leica Jet I Tissue Cassettes are suitable for holding and identifying tissue samples in processing, embedding, sectioning and archiving procedures. The cassettes fit securely in microtome chuck adapters. They are molded from a high density acetal polymer that is totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. These cassettes are designed to accept standard metal lids and will keep specimens completely safe during processing. Both the cassette and metal lid have the familiar round-hole design for enhanced fluid exchange and drainage. The slanted writing surface accepts markings easily, permitting sample identification throughout all histology procedures and long afterwards when archived. Cassettes are packaged in stacks of 40. Each case contains 50 stacks for a total of 2000 cassettes. The Leica Jet I Cassettes are also available loose in cases containing 3 dispenser boxes of 500 for a total of 1500 cassettes. Leica Jet II Tissue Cassette Stacked / With Lid
♦ High Quality Routine Cassettes Leica Jet II Tissue Cassettes, which are molded from a special high density acetal polymer, keep specimens safely submerged and are totally resistant to the chemical action of solvents used in histology laboratories. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper reagent drainage. Two types of cassettes are offered to suit your particular needs: a routine tissue cassette, and a biopsy cassette designed to hold small samples securely during processing (see page 6). The anterior printing area is at a 45° angle and offers an unobstructed view of the writing surface. The one-piece disposable plastic cover is pre-installed on each cassette and eliminates the need for reusable steel lids. The cover can be opened and closed as often as necessary and will always relock, reducing the possibility of specimen loss. Cassettes are packaged in stacks of 40. Each case contains 50 stacks for a total of 2000 cassettes. The Leica Jet II Cassettes are also available loose in cases containing 3 dispenser boxes of 500 for a total of 1500 cassettes. Leica Jet III Tissue Cassette Stacked / With Lid
♦ Convenient, Easy-To-Load Cassettes Molded from a special high density acetal polymer, the Leica Jet III Tissue Cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of solvents used in histology laboratories. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage. Two types of cassettes are offered to suit your particular needs: a routine tissue cassette, and a biopsy cassette designed to hold small samples securely during processing (see page 7). The one-piece snap-latch and hinge-lock design prevents early separation of base and lid and allows one-hand operation. Lids are attached in an open position for easy filling, but can be opened or closed as often as necessary and will always relock securely. The tab on the left front side makes opening easy. Lids are easily removed by pulling sideways. Anterior writing area is at a 45° angle. Cassettes are packaged in stacks of 40. Each case contains 25 stacks for a total of 1000 cassettes. ♦ Multi-Compartment Biopsy Cassettes The specially designed Leica Jet Biopsy Cassettes have six numbered compartments measuring 7 x 12 mm (1/4" x 7/16"). The cover and base have over 3000 square openings, each measuring 0.36 mm, to maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage. No biopsy pads are necessary. Unique air vent design allows more efficient filling with paraffin. The one-piece disposable plastic cover is attached and closed on each cassette and eliminates the need for reusable steel lids. The cover can be opened and closed as often as necessary and always relocks. Cassettes are packaged in stacks of 40. Each case contains 50 stacks for a total of 2000 cassettes.
